Interventional Radiology (I.R.) is a field truly like no other in medicine. The kinds of procedures that you can perform in I.R. are unique. You’ll find yourself frequently thrown into emergency situations that require your medical and procedural expertise. You may be all that stands between life and death for your patients. It’s an exciting field, and certainly not for the faint of heart.
